How much does it cost to adopt a pet form montgomery county animal shelter?
I heard it cost 40 on the news but had anybody recently adopted a pet like maybe a month ago or 3 months ago?

Generally adopting from a shelter is in the $100-$300 range.

Your best bet is to call them. Most of us would have no idea, as we do not live in your area or even know where you are talking about.

You know it would help if you specified WHICH STATE YOU ARE IN.
There is one in Texas, Ohio,Maryland, New York, Virgina and I am sure several other states and no one is going to sit and list all of them so be bloody freaking specific. Or you know just pick up the phone and CALL THEM

Which Montgomery? In Montgomery, Alabama, the fees are $90 for dogs/puppies.
In Elmore County, which is just north of Montgomery, the shelter is also $90 for dogs/puppies and during the month of February, for every dog adopted over the age of six months – you will get a free six week obedience class taught by me.
