    Glad the dog was rescued. We rescue lost dogs in California. I think in Mexico they can’t. Quit trying to turn California into Mexico

    Dogs and Cats breath, eat, and sleep and feel pain just like everything else, except? they are not human, everyone has a right to live. I glad they rescued the dog and for those of you who are not, hopefully you don’t own any pets.

    @pigs4islam …
    @pigs4islam Mexifornia is running out of money because they’ve been spending BILLIONS on illegal alien parasites for YEARS now. It took one hour to save this dog. Learn some math before posting idiotic statements.

    Neat to see the raw …
    Neat to see the raw video. Saw a part of it on the news. They didn’t show how much the dog fought his rescue. And the firefighter did get bit but he said he was happy to rescue him. And they said on the news that they did this rescue to prevent a civilian from trying to rescue it and getting themself into a bad situation.

    Look you people …
    Look you people that think this is a waste of money look at it this way…some person would probably have tried to rescue that dog and then we’d have a person plus a dog in peril.
    Rescue teams work for ALL not just humans. It was a wonderful thing for them to do!

    @bluevidcam I wonder if even a dog at a certain point like this knows that the best thing is not too bite!! Maybe even a dog is smart enough to know the lesser of two evils I guess. But ofcourse, it’s always dangerous.

    Weswada: The rescuer could not do it any better. He said he had no time as the dog was taking in water and he had to act fast. There was NO time to wrap his arms around his legs. Watch the video. Bless this mans heart. The dog was frightened and the man said he was glad to do it. Many people have called in to adopt him already. They named him Vernon as it happened in Vernon Ca.

    Thank you to first responders who care about animals.
    The firefighter could have done faster if he knew how to handle the dog.
    most medium/large size dogs will not resist if you hold them by wrapping your arms around all for legs like you see cowboys do with calfs and small horses.
    I hope they implement better training for animal rescue techniques in police, ambulance, firefighters and military schools.
