i want to work with animal rescue, where do i start?

I have always had a love of animals and would love to be in a position to help them. Animal rescue is the area i would like to work but have no idea where to start. i’m not qualified but prepared to be. any advice would be great. thanx.

Possible work at an animal shelter, like the SPCA in your country. (That is, if you do have one.) It may cost some money, but that might be your first choice. The second could be basically be on the lookout for animal abuse and anything you can rescue animals from. Get a phone number you could use if you spot one, like the SPCA phone number in your country. The third could be to look on the internet of where to start. That’s all. The last one could give you more varieties of choices. Good luck!

    Rescue is generally a non-paying situation. They’re usually non-profits run by volunteers.

    Shelters usually pay, but it’s usually minimum wage, you’ll want a business background for most shelter jobs.
