What organization monitors area Animal Shelters?

There is an Animal Shelter in Porter County, Indiana that needs to be checked on as far as the care of the animals and the general operation of the facility. Is there an animal-rights organization that makes periodically checks on Animal Shelters?

Have you tried calling your local humane society? In our city there are Animal Control agents there that do this type of thing but its not true in all cities as our neighboring city does not have this.

If it is a stray that showed up in your yard they shouldn’t charge you.

I was just wondering if there were any good animal shelters with small sized dogs near massapequa, long island?

North Shore Animal league…it’s where i got my Black lab. They have ALL kinds of dogs…big ones, small ones, cute ones, not so cute ones…you name it they got it…and they are really close to where you live!! Give them a try.

How can I raise money for local animal shelters?

I love animals but my parents wont let me get anymore, we already have two dogs, two cats and a hamster. I want to raise money for some local no kill shelters because I know it takes alot to take care of animals for such a long time. Any suggestions of how to do that?

One of my favourites is a sponsored car wash. You can do it with your friends to make it fun, and you will get some nice cash for doing so. Many carwash shops are closed around this time of year, so it’s good to do now.
Just be warned.. the weather’s rather cold.
