Does it cost anything to drop off my 2 dogs at the humane society?
I have 2 dogs, I love them so much but they refuse to go to the bathroom outside, they pee and poop everywhere, they tear out trash too. I don’t want to take them to the Humane Society but my boyfriend doesn’t want them anymore. They are messing up the apartment and making it spell bad. I don’t want him to drop them off in the middle of nowhere, like his original plan. So, does it cost anything to take them to the humane society?
most shelters do ussually charge some kind of drop-off fee.. yes. It helps them recoup the costs of running the facility and feeding and caring for the dogs.

Take them to the humane society, it is illegal to just drop dogs off somewhere if you are caught you could spend some time in jail and get a fine. It’s called animal abuse.
those dogs need obedience classes and it can be expensive.

If I had a boyfriend cruel enough to dump to innocent dogs somewhere, I would dump that boyfriend fast. People cruel to animals are cruel to people too.
Dogs need training – like kids. They don’t just automatically know what to do.
