my baby cousin wants to volunteer at the pet shelter?

she is thirteen
very shy/eager
100% LOVES animals

but 2 questions

1- will they let her volunteer there?
2- can you volunteer at places?

You will have to contact the shelter in her area to see if there is an age limit. She may have to volunteer with an adult, get a release signed by a parent, or be assigned specific tasks. Often shelters need volunteers to make sure the animals get enough attention. Caution her that some of the dogs really pull hard on a leash and she may prefer to feed/play with cats.

Of course they’ll let people volunteer! Though being 13, she’ll probably need a parent/guardian with her.

Try contacting a local shelter or the SPCA via website or phone and see what they’re volunteering requirements are.
