A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter is located in Naperville, IL. We are a private, “no-kill”, non-profit organization that provides temporary shelter and care to dogs and cats in search of their forever home. Finding homes for our voiceless animals is a priority for us.

Garrett Merchant, a local videographer, volunteered his time to make this fantastic video about Community Animal Rescue & Adoption – CARA. We are a non lethal animal rescue caring for an average of 400 animals on a daily basis. CARA continues saving and caring for animals soley by donations from individuals. This is a short video. It only took me a few minutes, but is meant to be very meaningful and heartfelt.
PLEASE consider animal adoption- above all- breeders, pet stores, etc.
Besides, why would you want to PAY someone for your best friend? Why would you want to BUY a dog or cat? How about pay an adoption fee and ADOPT!
Remember, every animal you adopt is “one less” that will get euthanized.
Please support your local no-kill shelters. This, in turn, will enable them to rescue more animals from kill shelters in your area, but you AREN’T paying the kill shelters, who use a lot of the money for euthanasia. Instead, you are helping to lighten the kill shelters load. Inadvertantly, you can actually save more animals by rescuing from a no-kill than a kill.
These animals need you. And PLEASE spay and neuter your pets.

The dogs and cats at PAWS Atlanta are all anxiously awaiting a new home. It’s really hard for me not to adopt all the animals. I am glad the cats are cage free and that the dogs get lot’s of walks from volunteers.

LCA has been taking pet shop owners to shelters and puppy mills to show them what the pet trade industry is and how they support it by purchasing dogs from Hunte and Lambriar. One hundred dogs and forty cats left Bakersfield and went to three different Pets Delight pet shops. All the dogs will be spayed and neutered at Hacienda Animal Hospital thanks to The Heigl Foundation. Please spay and neuter your pets and support pet shops that are doing the right thing!!!!!!!
